Chapter 191:

On Sunday, Lynch had been in Bupayne for a week, but he still hadn't spent all the money in his pocket. Spending this money was proving to be much harder than he had imagined.

Around six in the evening, he headed to an estate in the suburbs of Bupayne. Manson accompanied Lynch as an intermediary, along with Vera.

As an outsider, Lynch needed to be more formal when attending a local party to integrate better into the local social circles.

Respect is the foundation of social interaction. By showing respect and formality, Lynch would find doors opening for him quickly.

At such gatherings, having a female companion was also crucial.

Vera initially didn't want to go, as attending such an event with Lynch could easily lead to misunderstandings. However, when Lynch mentioned that if she didn't go, he would have to "hire" some girls, Vera reluctantly agreed.

When the group arrived at the estate, the party had not yet started. It was an outdoor event, and while the staff were still setting up, some guests were already chatting on the side.

Lynch's arrival drew attention. The person at the center of the crowd smiled and walked over briskly, extending his hand, "Herbert, you must be Lynch."

His tone was decisive and certain. Two days earlier, he had "seen" Lynch through newspaper photos and learned about the remarkable achievements this young man had made in the small city.
