The conversation ended, and suddenly her phone rang. After glancing at the caller ID, Yang Xiaoxi pouted, "Aren’t you supposed to be shooting an advertisement? Why are you calling now?"
A couple of days ago, Cheng Feiyang had taken up an advertisement endorsement in J City and wouldn’t be back for a few days.
"The shoot will be over tomorrow. The scenery here is nice, and I happened to run into an acquaintance, so I plan to hang out here for a couple more days before returning," Cheng Feiyang said.
Upon hearing that he’d stay for two more days, Yang Xiaoxi didn’t know why, but she suddenly felt a surge of anger. "Well then, enjoy yourself. Why the call?" she replied irritably.
Cheng Feiyang said, "I was wondering if you’re bored in Beijing. If you are, I can come back tomorrow."
Without thinking, Yang Xiaoxi responded immediately, "I’m not bored, I take Xiaobei out every day and also keep Mianmian company. I don’t have time to be bored!"
Cheng Feiyang sounded disappointed and after a pause, he complained, "I’ve been away for several days, and you haven’t even called me or asked how I am. Don’t you miss me?"
"Cheng Feiyang, are you sick in the head?" Yang Xiaoxi blurted out. "Why would I miss you? It’s not like my brain has been slammed in a door."
