Chapter 972 Incoming Call
The phone in the house suddenly rang, pulling Shen Mianmian back from her thoughts. Seeing Yang Xiaoxi with food in her mouth and hands, Shen stood up.
"I’m going to answer the phone."
This call was most likely for her, as Principal Yang always called around seven o’clock on Sunday evenings to talk to Xiaoxi; he didn’t call at other times.

Picking up the phone, Xiaocui’s voice came through from the other end.
It had been about ten days since Xiaocui had last called. Hearing her voice, Shen Mianmian felt the warmth of family and found it exceptionally endearing.
"Xiaocui, have you eaten?"
"I have," Xiaocui replied, barely containing her excitement, "Mianmian, there’s something I want to tell you."
"What is it?" asked Shen Mianmian.
Xiaocui was a bit embarrassed and hesitated for a moment before whispering, "Mianmian, Dajun and I are dating now."
