Chapter 367 Repairing Doors and Windows
Shen Mianmian avoided the topic and took out a Band-Aid from her backpack to stick it on him, all the while asking curiously.
"In the height of summer, why did you suddenly think of fixing the window?"
Her home’s windows were made of wood, and one of the planks had been rotting for over half a year. Shen Jianhua had never planned to fix it, but now that the weather had warmed up, they needed to keep the windows open at night to sleep. Yet, he had suddenly decided to fix the window, which was quite strange indeed.
"I... The window was broken, and I was worried about your mother and Zhou Siyu being unsafe at home. The last time I came back, I heard your mom mention that some troublemakers had their eye on Siyu. You both are grown girls now, you should be more careful."
Shen Jianhua’s gaze darted away, not daring to meet Shen Mianmian’s eyes.
"Oh!" Although Shen Mianmian found it strange, she didn’t think too much about it, pasted the Band-Aid on Shen Jianhua and said with concern, "Your hand is injured, you should fix it another time! It is too hot these days, we can’t sleep even with the windows closed at night."
