Chapter 245: Didn’t Get a Single One Right
When Shen Mianmian arrived at school, Zhou Siyu had already submitted her homework and was deep in conversation with Zhao Xinlan. Siyu only glanced casually when Mianmian entered, indicating that Siyu probably hadn’t checked the homework again.
Shen Mianmian smiled and happily took out the extracurricular homework from her backpack. Lu Siyuan took it and carried it with him to Wang Jingjing’s desk, inevitably earning an eye roll from Wang Jingjing.
Wang Jingjing and Zhao Xinlan had been relatively well-behaved during this initial period of school since their previous report had been unsuccessful, but the eye rolls were frequent.
After collecting all the homework, Mianmian delivered it to the math class representative, who would then take it to the office.
The first and second periods were Chinese classes. With a stern face, Li Qiumei lectured for two periods and even took up an extra five minutes before break.
Everyone was used to it by now; not only did Li Qiumei like to use additional time outside of class, she also liked to assign extracurricular homework—ostensibly to help everyone learn more and get into a good high school.
According to her, she didn’t have high demands—she would be happy if ten students got into the first-ranked high schools and twenty into the second and third-ranked ones.
Shen Mianmian never said anything in response to these claims. The teaching quality of the era was limited, the high schools in the city had only a limited number of student slots, and the cutoff scores were high.
