Marvel: Empire of Power

Chapter 74: Baltic Fury, Alpine Echoes, a Circle Tightens

The simultaneous operations – the assault on Krankenhaus X and the rescue of Logan – represented the most complex, high-stakes endeavors Elias Thorne had yet undertaken. The System was a nexus of crackling energy and near-constant data streams as he monitored both fronts, his enhanced mind processing tactical updates, psionic feedback, and resource allocations with dizzying speed. The fate of two of his most critical assets, and potentially the course of his war against Hydra, hung in the balance.

The Baltic Front: Krankenhaus X

Namor's arrival in the Baltic was not subtle. His Atlantean fleet, a shimmering constellation of bio-luminescent submersibles that moved with an unnatural, silent speed, bypassed German naval patrols with contemptuous ease. He had with him a hundred of his elite Royal Guard, warriors clad in ornate Atlantean armor, wielding tridents that crackled with harnessed bio-electricity and hydrokinetic force.

Elias, through his psionic link with Namor, witnessed glimpses of their terrifying efficiency. They didn't just attack the Hydra U-boat pen that served as Krankenhaus X's disguised supply route; they obliterated it. The sea itself rose up at Namor's command, crushing steel and concrete, while his warriors, emerging from the waves like vengeful sea gods, swept through the coastal defenses, their movements fluid and deadly, their tridents discharging bolts of azure energy that short-circuited Hydra technology and boiled flesh.

[NAMOR (PRIME CONDUIT) & ATLANTEAN ROYAL GUARD: ENGAGED HYDRA COASTAL DEFENSES (KRANKENHAUS X PERIMETER). HOSTILE FORCES NEUTRALIZED. ACCESS TO SUBTERRANEAN CANAL SYSTEM SECURED. LOYALTY (NAMOR): +4% (Total 47% – Decisive Action, Alliance Strength Validated, Protection of Oceanic/Atlantean Interests). SYSTEM SUB-ROUTINE UNLOCKED: "ATLANTEAN WARFARE TACTICS (ADVANCED)" – Host can now intuitively understand and potentially replicate complex Atlantean squad maneuvers and energy weapon employment principles for his own forces.]

As the Atlanteans secured the subterranean canals, Thomas MacIntyre and his Feral Striker pack – Dubois, Macgregor, Lemaire, and Beaulieu – made their insertion. The Sea Serpent had deposited them via a mini-submersible (another O'Malley special) into the flooded tunnels. They moved through the dark, fetid waterways, Beaulieu in his element, guiding them.

Krankenhaus X was a labyrinth of reinforced concrete, sterile laboratories, and cell blocks echoing with the faint, tormented cries of Hydra's victims. The Feral Strikers, now operating with a grim, practiced lethality, became a force of targeted extermination. Dubois was their battering ram, smashing through reinforced doors and overwhelming Hydra guards with brute force. Macgregor and Lemaire were the scalpels, silently eliminating patrols, disabling security systems (Lemaire's unexpected knack for sabotaging Hydra tech was proving invaluable), and gathering intel. Beaulieu, his aquatic adaptations allowing him to navigate flooded sections and bypass traps, acted as their scout and rearguard.

Thomas MacIntyre, his Barbarian core a cold, controlled inferno, directed their assault, his tactical acumen honed by Elias's strategic oversight. He focused their fury, ensuring they didn't get bogged down, always pushing towards their primary objective: Samuel Miller.

They found Miller in the deepest, most secure sector – "Sektor Omega." He was strapped to a horrifying apparatus of wires, tubes, and gleaming chrome, his body pale and scarred, but his Feral Striker resilience still evident in the faint, defiant glow in his yellow-silver eyes. Hydra scientists, led by a chillingly calm, bespectacled woman known only as Dr. Ilsa Haupman (identified by the System as a key Hydra geneticist specializing in artificial augmentation), were actively attempting to extract tissue samples and map his unique regenerative pathways.
