Thus, when the Buddha Tathagata decided to propagate the law ahead of time and plant the seed of the Buddhist Law, he immediately volunteered to take on this heavy responsibility.
Thinking of the days when the Buddhist Law would flourish greatly, he would earn more merits.
Even if he did not have the opportunity to become a Quasi-Saint by severing the three corpses like Jia Ye, he could follow in the footsteps of the Merit Quasi-Saint Jiu Liu Sun-Fu.
However, the Buddha apparently did not trust his abilities and let Jia Ye descend to the mortal world with him.
