"No problem." Helen patted Anna’s shoulder, "I’m glad Jesse has you as a friend. Can you help look after her at school?"
"I will."
Hearing Anna say this, I knew I didn’t have to worry. With Anna’s protection, no one would dare bully Jesse.
"What now? Want to go to my place?" Anna suggested. "I have an apartment in Fort Lauderdale and a villa in Palm Beach."
Jesse gave Anna the finger, "Damn this world, you have a villa in Palm Beach?"
"Yes!" Anna looked at me proudly.
"Wow. Does Anna have a boyfriend? How about our Kenny?" Mia happily said, hugging my shoulder, "As long as you marry him, he won’t have to work, and Helen won’t need to take up a job. If he disagrees, I’ll strip him naked and throw him in your bed!"
"Mia!" Jesse called out in displeasure.
Helen gave Mia a thumbs up, "Mia, you’re the best wingman!"
"I don’t have a boyfriend." Anna brushed her hair back with a smile on her face.
"Oh my God, a girl like you doesn’t have a boyfriend? No one’s chasing you?"
