Chapter 98: You Can’t Possibly Not Have Hands
I’ll become an emotional well-being blogger! Exclusively for those foolish men and women trapped in emotional dilemmas. That way, there’s a much better chance of encountering scumbags of both genders.
Soon, An Yan registered an account for emotional live streaming. Her profile introduction read: "Many times, we haven’t actually moved on from our pain; we’ve just learned to live with it!"
After successfully registering the account, An Yan immediately wrote a small program to add accounts that had recently searched for emotional issues as her followers. Then, she posted a message: "Professional listening to your stories, helping you out of mental distress!"
Once everything was ready, she went to her study and turned on the computer, camera, and sound equipment. She first changed her appearance to something more ordinary. Not too pretty, not too ugly, but with a hint of scholarly air! Then she added a pair of frameless glasses. Only after ensuring everything was perfect did she start the live stream.
Gradually, people curious about the stream started tuning in.
[What is this live stream about?]
An Yan replied, "Spiritual counseling. I teach you how to adjust your mindset and hoist the sails of life after encountering scumbags. If you have things you can’t make sense of, you can talk to me. Open-hearted guidance, no charge at all."
Upon hearing it was free, a young lady applied to connect. Her boyfriend of three years had fallen for another girl. He was spending her money on gifts and drinks for this other person, leaving the young lady in agony. She wanted to break up but was reluctant to let go of their years together!
An Yan pondered for a moment, then replied, "Does he have no income of his own?"
The other party replied, "Yes, his family is very poor; even his college tuition was paid by me."
Using the limited information she had, An Yan deduced and replied, "Then, I suggest you don’t think of him as a boyfriend, but as a service provider with a clear price tag!
"Since you’ve paid, you have the right to demand the corresponding service from him.
