Chapter 410: A Pleasurable Wedding Night – R18
The newlywed couple headed out of the inn, walking hand-in-hand. They spent a lovely day wandering about the town as if on a honeymoon.
The couple went for a stroll through the bustling local market, where they eagerly sampled the variety of fresh local produce, artisanal cheeses, and other tempting wares.
Whenever anyone asked, Noah proudly introduced Emily as his wife, a broad smile spreading across his face. He delighted in sharing this experience with the woman he loved, eager to show her off to the friendly townspeople.
As the afternoon drew on, the newlyweds set out on a scenic walk along the picturesque riverbank. The serene, meandering waters and lush, verdant surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for their ambling steps and intimate conversation.
Their stroll soon led them to reminisce about past adventures, and Emily couldn’t help but giggle as she recalled the time she had tumbled into the creek after foraging for mushrooms during their journey to Cassian. Noah, too, joined in her laughter, the memory bringing a warm smile to his face.
Night fell, and the newlywed couple returned to the inn after satisfying themselves with a hearty dinner at a café in the town centre. After refreshing themselves and changing into clean, comfortable nightwear, they retired for the evening.
Emily reclined on the bed, her back and head resting against the plush pillows, leaning on the headboard. Noah emerged from the bathroom, his damp black hair pushed back, and approached the bed.
Joining his wife, Noah took his place at Emily’s side. The young woman welcomed him with a warm, radiant smile.
"I had a wonderful day today, Noah. Thank you for taking me around. It’s been so marvellous to visit a new place in Cassian. This kingdom is wonderful," she said, her eyes shining with delight.
"I’m pleased you’ve enjoyed yourself," Noah replied, mirroring her smile.
He rested his head against the pillow, and his hand slowly reached out to clasp hers.
