"This is a royal decree, Rafe," he stated firmly. "As my loyal subject, you are bound to accept my order."

"He’s not an unknown man! You’ve met him and even requested him to be your mediator for the dispute on Anna," the king pointed out. "That shows you favour him."
"That’s different! And we’ve just met him for a few days! There’s no way my sister should be married to him!" countered the Mederian Prince with fervent objection.
