Chapter 265: The Betrayal.
"I understand that." Olivia said simply as she stood up.
As she turned to leave with Damon, the flames of the pit roared higher pausing her. She stared at the flames in confusion but the Media cleared her throat.
"After this ends, Olivia, would you consider joining the coven?" she asked in a soft voice as if they were never enemies. Olivia looked away from the pit and stared at the media. She knew that if she started with the witches, she could be guided better for her future.
But no matter how she looked at them, she did not feel that connection with them. She could feel Damon’s stiffness when he heard the question too. But he did not raise to look at her or refuse her.
"I will think about it when the time comes." she whispered softly before turning to leave.
Then he said quietly, "You handled that better than I thought. I could not believe we came out without getting killed or killing someone! Olivia looked at the closing doors of the coven. It disappeared from there, as if it was never there in the first place.
She stared at it for a long time but she was not sure if she could find it again.
"Yes, it was so surreal." she accepted. She had always thought of looking at the coven from inside. But now that she had been there, she did not get the chance to explore anything. She wanted to see those houses. Wanted to ask if her mother’s house was still there.
And if possible could she go there. There were so many questions but all of them were answered just because she was not part of them. She was not welcome there. She had felt their hatred toward them and she could not blame them.
