"Do you like that dress?" Oriana stood before the tall mirror, her white gown flowing like moonlight, delicate embroidery glinting at the hems. The dress hung perfectly on her hips accentuating her lean waist. No one would believe that she gave birth to two kids already and was in her thirties. She looked mesmerizing.
"Yes, it is beautiful and it perfectly matched the tiara Whistle had gifted me." she slowly swirled as she watched herself. Her eyes were glowing and she genuinely looked happy.
Olivia watched her sister and sighed. She had never thought Oriana could be happy. But Rhistel had truly changed her. And the man did not seem that bad now.
"Oh, are you just going to watch me like that?" Olivia blinked and noticed that Oriana was frowning at her. "You need to buy a beautiful dress too as you will be a bridesmaid. Come, let’s buy you a beautiful dress." Olivia wanted to refuse. But Oriana had already started looking at the other dresses.
"I will look for something simple." Olivia frowned. "All these gowns were prepared for you. They are too lavish." any one of them would cost thousands of gold coins because of fine gold work or gemstones on them. Not to forget the finest silk or handcrafted embroidery.
"Did you not say you are dating a duke too? How could you lack money?" Oriana clicked her tongue as she took out a red dress and passed it to Olivia.
Damon had never bought a dress for her. But she was sure that he would not refuse. But she was embarrassed to ask him.
"I think.."
"You do not think when you need to!" Oriana sighed, "and now you are thinking so much over a dress? Give yourself a break and try it."
