"Edward!" Olivia spoke softly and punched his chest lightly, teasingly, "are you being jealous of him? He is my kin and younger to me. How could it be!" Olivia’s stomach churned with disgust.
This man had slept with hundreds of women. Yet he was jealous because she took Damon’s name? But when? When did she take it?
The man’s grip finally loosened on her arm and he chuckled.
"And here I thought you only knew how to win the deals.. I have forgotten that you are Oriana’s sister." it took everything in her to not scowl at him.
"Yet you need both of us to survive. How strange." she placed her hand on his chest flirtatiously. And when his eyes darkened with desire, she stood up.
"So do not forget that we are not in love but mutual benefits. Because it would be trouble for you if I started getting jealous." The smirk on her face did not falter even when his eyes narrowed and a dangerous gleam filled them.
She let go of him and turned to leave when he snickered.
"Trying to be smart! Do not forget that you will be my wife. A man can have many women but a woman’s virtue is to be faithful, Olivia. I will not bear any insult." he snapped. Olivia’s heart trembled but she maintained that calm facade. She tilted her face to meet his eyes.
"I know my boundaries, Edward. You do not need to worry about useless things. Tomorrow at the night market, I am going to convince the woman to sign the deal for the welfare of the two countries. Make sure to take all the credit yourself." After that, she started walking again.
