Chapter 113: We Only Have You
"Bang!" Olivia and everyone in the room flinched when they heard the hard sound of the vase falling on the ground.
Damon had stood up at some point. His eyes bloodshot and his face dark as if he wanted to kill someone!
"I will investigate it personally. I would not spare anyone." he enunciated every word with the desire to kill. His face was so dark that Olivia doubted if he had killed his father or someone had snatched the opportunity from him. That was why he was so furious.
Elio frowned but cleared his throat.
"Damon, we understand that you are upset over the death of your father. But you can not speak carelessly. He was in the royal palace when... it might be just an accident, an illness not found on time." he explained only to get a scoff in return.
"My father was just fine this morning. Even an hour ago when I met him to inform him about Olivia’s aunt and your highness marriage proposal, he was speaking to me normally. Would I have not realized if my father was sick?" he retorted with a cold face.
Elio opened his mouth and closed it. It was not like he did not have a reply, but it was hard to speak in front of Damon. Despite being part of the royal family, ELi could not handle Damon’s presence.
The man had been part of wars before he was an adult. And since then he had been killing people like cutting vegetables, when he released his deathly aura, only his majesty was able to handle it.
Gabriealla looked pale and Edward was hardly enduring. But now that Elio had challenged him, his whole aura fell on Elio.
