"Then you have to die on your own too." Before the man could react, a straight gunshot hit the space between his brows. The man died just like that.
Emma was still trembling with rage as she killed the man.
"God dammit! I could not believe that such a pathetic fool attacked Nora and made us captive." the more she thought about it, she felt agitated.
"How is she now!" she did not dare to look at Alric as she spoke.
Nora took a deep breath, but her whole body shuddered just by breathing.
"I am fine." the words barely left her mouth as she gasped again. Her whole body was covered in cold sweat.
"I need to go home." Alric did not reply but looked at Max. Max had already taken out the bullet and bandaged the wound.
"She can go and rest. I will come later to give her a few injections. It will be better that she rest for a few days." Finally he nodded, and took her in his arms. Nora could feel the tension as he walked with a stiff face. His eyes were so cold that no one dared to look at him when he walked.
He placed her in the car but did not let go of her hands. Nora watched him and sighed.
