Chapter 470: Ceased Existence
Nat looked at him confused and it took her a second to remember she had burnt the food.
"Ah! Oh, yes! What would we eat?" food was the last thing in her mind when she felt fear instilling in her heart.
"Shall i order something? Pasta or you would like to eat something else?" Now that he was talking to her, Nat did not panic anymore. She did not hyperventilate or broke into cold sweats.
Max hid the smile and asked in a calm voice as her eyes started to clear again and she did not feel goosebumps on her skin anymore.
"Well, I can only make sandwiches if you like to try. I made a good one last night. I can still use the leftover mushrooms and carrots and.." nat laughed amused.
"I would prefer delivery instead. Let’s order some sandwiches and pasta."
"Hey! If you want a sandwich, I can make it. Why order it?" Nat laughed, shaking her head again.
"Since I have burnt the food, I will treat you." she picked up her phone from the corner just when he let her hands go. But he took the phone from her.
She frowned when he fumbled with her phone looking hesitant. She blinked and then looked at her fingers and smiled.
