Chapter 433: Missed You
It was not hard to find Alex. he was sitting on the last bench with his eyes closed and a bored look on his face like always. She must have been cursed by a spell that she did not notice him these days.
Looking at his languid posture, Nora smiled. It felt like nothing had changed. She walked to him and knocked on his seat.
Alex frowned but did not open his eyes, hoping whoever had come to disturb him would leave on his own. Nora grinned looking at him and knocked harder.
"Punk, if you do not want a punch, leave!" he cursed in a dominating voice. Nora noticed how everyone looked at her. As if asking "why do you have a death wish."
Nora only beamed. She had not realized that she had missed his threats.
"How about a hug instead of a punch, Alex?" Alex stiffened. He opened his eyes slowly as if giving time to his heart to relax. He looked at her intently until she smiled and waved her hands in front of him. "You look lost! I heard that you were following me! I thought you would be happy." Alex blinked and finally let go of the breath he was holding.
"Yes, I am happy." he stood up towering over her. She watched him with an intimate smile. But her relaxed and happy expressions only stiffened him further.
He wanted to meet her to thank her. To apologize to her for putting her in danger. But now, he did not have words to explain to him. It was better when she was ignoring him and blaming him for his mistakes.
Now that she was smiling at him, he did not know what to do.
