Chapter 423: Trapped
Nat laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling. Could there be people watching her here? She had checked there were no cameras in the building. And there were only two maids. They were not closer.
Still to be sure, she opened the door and walked to the corridor with an empty glass. If anyone found her, she had an excuse ready. But as she walked toward the kitchen where she had been earlier, she did not find anyone.
The lights were dim and she was sure everyone had gone to sleep already. She filled the glass in the kitchen and sat down. She took a long time to finish the glass, as if waiting for someone to come. When no one came, she returned to her room. More slowly this time.
But still no one came, she locked the door after closing it and then pulled it a few times to make sure it was closed.
Nat opened the closet and checked it then she went to the washroom. It took an hour to be sure that there were no hidden cameras or mike that recorded her voice or actions.
"How could that be?" it was hard to believe but she only shrugged. This was her chance. She opened the small bag she had brought and took out her mobile for the first time.
She did not dare to call but left many messages for Nora at once.
"He is making a new company using your idea!"
"He is investing in a software company too."
