Chapter 400: Changed The Dates!
When Chris returned to the company, he looked much in control, he watched Nora still working in her office.
He paused in his tracks and watched her for a while. Though the desire was still there, he did not lose control like before.
"Why is she still here?" Aiden looked at the woman working with uneasiness.
"She claimed that since you are ready for the transfer of shares, she should come often and learn everything before you leave." He watched his boss closely, as if waiting for his outburst. His mind is overworking to salvage the situation.
But Chris did not burst out. He only stared at Nora wirth a smirk. He extended his hands and Aiden instantly took out a cigarette and lit it for him.
"Sir, the deal is good for us. And I am sure that Miss Stone could never learn the tasks completely. Her speciality is in science, I have confirmed it myself." he rambled hastily as if he was afraid that Chris would refuse the deal. They needed that money desperately.
Chris smirked as he took a drag of his cigarette.
"It did not have anything to do with us. We will take our money and leave this cursed company." he threw the cigarette on the ground and trampled on it with force. Aiden was perplexed looking at Chris.
For the first time, he did not know what Chis was thinking. But as long as he did not back out from the deal, Aiden was relieved.
