Chapter 356: Only One Owner
"I have news for you!" someone entered the room. Maddy threw a script toward Nora before walking out. Nora started reading but her ears strained.
"Yes, I have confirmed. Charlie is leaving the show because of his messy affair, if we poach carefully, the role could land to our team. But we do not have a b grade actor. What if we got the role but no one agreed to perform it." The girl looked worried and Maddy nodded.
"We should discuss it with Debra. She is the woman chosen by the boss after all." They both left the room.
Nora watched them leaving and then looked at the playing group again. She closed the file and went to the group.
"Hey! Can I play too?" a girl scanned Nora and then looked away. Others did not even hear her.
Nora ignored their sneer and sat down making them frown.
"Who are you, a pest?" the girl hissed. "Lena!"
"It’s alright Prudence! I will handle her." The girl named Lena pulled Nora out.
"They are top celebrities. It is one thing that you want an autograph, but you can not sit with them and play cards."
"Do they not have shows to perform?" Len felt irritated at once. She glared at Nora.
"What does it have to do with you? One word from them and you would be fired. So watch your mouth." Nora nodded with a frown. Lena left gritting her teeth.
