Chapter 354: His Fiance!
Nora watched in daze as Alric ate the food she had chosen. She had chosen food he did not like to spite him. But watching him eating so happily made her conscience prick.
"Why are you not eating? Here, try this! This is delicious." He passed the only meat on his plate to her. Nora did not know whether to laugh or cry.
"How about we go and eat out. There is a good restaurant." but Alric shook his head. He picked up the meat and brought it to her lips.
Heat rose to her cheeks again. She blushed but opened her mouth slowly. Alric fed him with hearts in his eyes. He looked like a man in love.
"You.. you have so much work. How will you continue to come here?" When he did not reply, she continued, "Emma is here to protect me. You should not make your work suffer."
"She will only protect you from danger. She will not protect me!" Nora frowned.
"Don’t you have other bodyguards. If not, you can take her too. I do not need one in the first place." Alric sighed! He was not worried about her safety. He was worried about his position. What if there were more competitors? What if.. He would sit here and guard what belonged to him.
"There is no important lecture left. Shall we go to your new company? The staff needs an introduction." Nora nodded at once. Going to company and handler work was much easier than Staying in school and letting Alric show his affections."
He knew what she thought. His eyes dimmed a bit but he did not say a word. He held her hand and guided to his car.
