"How could this be!" Sophia covered her mouth with her hands as if someone might hear her shock.
David snorted as he stood up.
"Can you think of any other reason for her actions? She is bent on destroying us even if she had to sacrifice herself in the process." he had already walked toward his study.
Sophia gave an eye to Agatha. The woman bowed her head and retreated to the kitchen. Sophia closely followed David. Her heart in her throat as she watched him opening the drawers. Suddenly the rhinestone shining in the room flashed in front of her eyes.
