Chapter 320: Stay With Me
"This is your important task?" Alric swept his gaze on the dance floor. How the girls were swaying in the arms of men much older than them.
"Are you even allowed to be at such a place?" his brows furrowed. The ambiance was dark and steamy. He would not be surprised if one of them started to have sex in the open the way they were making out.
Nora was not following his gaze. Her eyes were searching for the bar section. Alric frowned and held her hand when she took a step forward.
"Where do you think you are going? Stay with me." he could not let her be at such a place.
"Do you know how to play those games?" she pointed at the tables where men were playing poker and blackjack. "Which one can you play better?" Alric frowned at once.
He had never been to a gambling house even when he needed money desperately.
"Luck would be the last thing I will believe in. If you need instant money, there are better ways!" He held her hand tightly with the intention of dragging her.
But he felt dumbfounded when she looked disappointed.
"Is that so! What a shame." shame!! Shame? It was a shame that he was not a gambler. Alric felt exasperated. It was hard to understand her chain of thoughts.
