Chapter 318: You Are Star Now
"The party was grander than I had thought!" Lucy gasped as she entered with her friends.
Red carpets, hordes of reporters flashing cameras, bright lights and handsome men and women to escort guests. Only then was the entrance so grand that it stopped the breaths of many.
They all belong to rich or noble families. But the setting still widened their eyes. Large halls with the best wine even at the entrance, the party had anything one could think of.
When the guests were escorted inside, they could not help but praise Penny and the Stone family. Penny as a host was welcoming everyone. She was dressed in a stunning red color dress with a diamond necklace and teardrop earrings.
She looked mesmerizing with her hair curled. The dress was custom made accentuating her figure to another level. Her white skin shone under the chandelier light. It was hard to take their eyes away from her.
In the background, a large lead was covering the whole walls. It showed random pictures of Penny and drinks she was holding. A whole section was made to taste those drinks that were yet to be launched in the market tomorrow.
Nothing could be grander than this program. Her incident with Jimmy had been forgotten. No one dared to mention it looking at the proud Penny.
Lucy stood at the side. Penny paused when she noticed her presence. She had not expected Lucy to really come. Their relationship had turned sour after Jimmy’s accident. Since Lucy did not follow Penny anymore, she was of no use for Penny.
"Mr Stone, your niece did not attend the program?" a stakeholder from the company searched for Nora and frowned.
