Chapter 297: Disappoint You
"Yes, you are right. Aunt! The property should go to its rightful owner." Sophia’s eyes narrowed looking at Nora’s reaction. "And I do not have any interest in them anyway. I would get a job easily." Nora lowered her head with agreement and smiled.
Sophia frowned. She was sure she had seen hatred in the eyes of this girl! There was something about Nora that made her wary. Even though Nora had cleared that she was here to submit but on her own conditions, she felt danger from her.
"That guy Victor, is he giving you confidence?" Sophia leaned closer, "Nora, everyone needs family to survive. And the promises of young boys are not worth believing.."
"I understand that." Nora nodded readil confusing Sophia again. "Now, I will be late for my run." she bowed her head lightly before running away.
Sohpia’s eyes narrowed. There was something wrong. Her gut was telling that Nora was dangerous even when her eyes were sincere during the conversation.
"I will handle her later!" will! What the hell was David thinking about? Gritting her teeth, she returned to her room where David was still sleeping. She pulled the duvet and threw it on the ground.
"Wake up! Are you going to sleep all day!" David frowned at once when he heard Sophia’s shrill voice.
But as she opened his eyes, his head spinned. He held his head and cursed.
"Now you are feeling the headache! And had planned to pass it on me too? David, you have lost your mind." Sophia gritted her teeth as she scowled at her husband with rage.
