Chapter 267: Visit Their Grave!
"It is nice meeting you, young lady. Congratulations on winning a gold medal." Tristan congratulated the girl with a large smile as he shook her head. David pressed her wrist lightly before letting her go.
He was not afraid that Nora would create a scene. No matter how many issues Nora had with his wife and daughter, he had never harmed her. And he knew she was still intimidated by him. After all, they have hardly communicated directly. He had never harmed her in any way. But she knew that he was cold and domineering.
He had made sure that he would never ruin his image in her presence.
Nora nodded slightly toward the others too. A few parents had come to receive their kids. They all have heard about Nora from their son or daughters.
Looking at her humble smile and good manners they all have a good impression about her.
"Kane!" Tristan smiled at his son. "You were right about her." she would be much better for their family.
Tristan nodded in approval. Kane shifted his weight, he wanted to be anywhere but here.
"Dad, I am exhausted. Can we leave for now?" he pushed his father’s arm, making him frown. Tristan warned his son from his looks but David laughed.
"It is normal to be exhausted after a long journey. Nora is exhausted too. We should go and let our kids rest first." his hands reached for her shoulder and she nodded.
