Chapter 244: Call The Doctor Now
"What is it?" She looked at them coldly with a slight frown of impatience as if she did not understand why they had disturbed her early in the morning.
"I.." director Reid felt flustered. He glared at the teachers behind him. "We heard that there was someone in your room." he looked at her apologetically as if telling her from his expressions that he wanted to be anywhere but here.
"I do not understand. Someone was in my room and every teacher came to meet me?" she tilted her head and feigned rare ignorance. She spoke loud enough for Alric to hear.
His grip on the door tightened. He closed his eyes and leaned on the door. She was right. If they all come to check her room, he could not hide at such an obvious place. But if Amyra knew that he was here, she would even check beneath the rugs if needed.
If that was the case, what would be the use of hiding?
"That is not the case." Director Reid shifted at his feet and looked back. A woman standing behind him sighed and spoke first, "girl! Is there someone in your room?" her upfront voice and straightforward look made Nora blink but she nodded instantly.
"Yes, Mr Spencer is in my room." Alric froze. Even though he had anticipated it, he was still stunned that she announced it to the world. He could have found a way to leave her room unannounced.
The woman was equally stunned. So as the teachers. Even if they knew someone was in her room, they never expected her to accept it.
"Why?" The teacher took a step forward. Nora stopped aside to give them room as if she had nothing to hide. The teachers scanned the room as if they were investigators looking for proof.
