Chapter 221: Resting Like A Princess
"Have you found her?" The voice was trembling with fear.
She smiled softly and nodded. And then she started walking. Kane cursed but followed them. He wanted to see Nora’s face when the track would end and she could still not find Penny. It would not be too late to call the police then.
But he was stunned to see that Nora did not continue. She asked for a resting room and then stopped there.
"What are we doing at this place?" he paused at the door and did not enter. Nora finally turned to look at him. He had a condescending look on her face that stunned Kane again.
"We are here to find your conceited girlfriend. Do you not want to say her hello? Oh right! Since you are so rich, why don’t you pay for her address?" Kane had never seen such a shameless girl!
Cursing under his breath, he took out a wad of cash and threw it on her face. Mr Summer was the one to flinch.
"Kane!" he warned the boy. But Nora did not react at all. She caught the notes before they could fall on the ground and went in without a change in expression.
Kane felt guilty instantly. He was just irritated with her actions and wanted to irritate her. But..
She passed a few notes to the receptionist. Kane noticed that the place was mostly empty. They don’t even have a proper staff.
