Chapter 214: A Trip Or An Opportunity
"What if I don’t go?" Nora took a deep breath. Her face was covered with cold sweat. She had eaten a bunch of different antibiotics and allergy resistant medicine last night and had been stressed the whole morning. She wanted to lie down and sleep.
"You have been up the whole night." Alisha looked at her exhausted face and nodded. "Then I will go and inform the teacher, we are not going."
"Why are you not going?" Nora frowned. "I will only sleep in my room. I do not need someone to look after me." but Alisha shook her head. She held Nora’s hands and sighed.
"Nora, there were so many students above me. They have a better chance of being selected. If not for your notes, I would not have been here. Even if I fail now, I have achieved a lot. I do not care about a trip or relaxing in a resort. I will just look around and buy a souvenir for my friends." looking at the sincere respect on her face, Nora felt a headache. She did not want to tangle herself in emotions.
If she was not careful enough, she would either harm them or be harmed by them. But she knew Alisha would not change her decision and sighed.
"Nah, it would be a waste. I would rather rest in the resort and have a good massage." she rubbed her forehead, "i need it." Before Alisha could convince her otherwise, Nora started walking. Despite her sickness and exhaustion, she was walking faster than Alisha. Alisha had to run a few times to catch up to her.
"Do you know, that place even has hot springs there. I am not going to come out for the whole day." a girl giggled and they heard many talking.
All the selected students of various states had joined the chance. When they saw Nora walking closer, many came forward to congratulate her. She was like a celebrity between them.
Penny watched from a distance. Her cold and gloomy eyes were full of malice.
