Chapter 191: She Has Guts
"You still have the guts to say something, Nora!" Megan laughed with a cold sneer on her face. "I must have underestimated your guts."
"..." Mr summer looked at Nora in question. But when he did not notice any hint of guilt or embarrassment, his confidence rose. He knew that the girl had the power to flip the situation.
If given a chance, she could flip heaven and earth.
He frowned immediately at overbearing Megan.
"Miss Sinclair, even principal Kai said that she must be given a chance to speak. Are you trying to overstep his powers?" his cold words immediately stopped Megan.
She panicked and stared at the principal and noticed him frowning.
"I never meant to do so, sir! I was just infuriated that the girl had no shame. Please forgive me." she bowed her head immediately and became silent. Inside the table, her hands were clenched into a fist.
Even she was afraid of Nora’s powers to convince others. What if the girl opened her mouth and changed the story completely. She stared at the watch. It was almost an hour and Jack would be here soon.
Consoling herself, she nodded.
