Chapter 177: Following Same Circle
"What did you do? She said that you have run away with Alex!" Before Nora could reply, Emma had already given an answer too. Nora rolled her eyes. Not a least bit affected by the response.
"Lucy, Emma! Did you follow her? Was she safe?" Nora asked again, making Lucy sigh.
"You girl! You are in a terrible situation Yet you are only worried about her?!" Emma stared at the ceiling and sighed. She looked exhausted. "Dealing with you burns my youth. I will age early." she cursed. "Yes, a few fools had teased her and attacked her when she did not respond. But the rogue did not hold much power. Adam and Lucy held them themself so I did not reveal myself." she snorted.
"The girl used a sizzler pan to attack one of the ruffians." an amused laughed relaxed Nora lightly. She knew Penny was going to attack Lucy the way she was looking at Lucy.
"But what about you?" Nora looked at the ivy drip in her hands. The nurse had told her that she had lost a lot of blood and her wound was deep.
"I am going to rest in a hotel then. I will return for exams later." Emma gasped. She looked around as if she was afraid that someone might hear her.
"Don’t tell me that you really ran away with Alex. What about that chocolate boy? He looked so furious. He had broken a few of the boy’s teeth. They all were spouting nonsense about you.. so,"
"Emma, i will talk to you later!" Nora cut the call before the girl could gossip more. She nodded at the guests standing at her door.
An elderly woman walked in holding the hands of a young girl for support. Her face was pale and stained with tears.
