Chapter 145: Duped By The Sisters
Nora ignored them. She was not their age that she became flustered just by standing alone in the crowd.
She looked around and found a set of dumbbells. She picked them with a smirk and returned to her mat. Other teams had already taken their position. A girl was lying flat on the mat with her leg bent at 90 degree angle and feet flat on the floor. The other girl was holding her feet tightly. Then Lifting their Upper Body, they Raised their torso toward their knees using their abdominal muscles.
Many waited for Nora to make fun of her. Of course the exercise could be done alone, but then their feet would not stay flat on the mat. Nora sat on the mat and placed two dumbbells on her both feet making sure the weight was enough to lock her feet. Then she inhaled a deep breath and laid on the ground.
Slowly, she started doing push ups but within a few breaths, she was doing them like a pro. Like she had only did sit ups all her life.
Those who were waiting to make fun of her were all dumbfounded and looked at her with a stunned gaze.
The coach was making rounds. When Nora was left alone, he was going to offer him a break. But paused when he saw Nora walking toward the dumbbells table. As a coach he knew what she was doing and this had brought a smile on his face.
He stared at many girls who stopped and changed places with their team members only after doing four sets. But since Nora did not have a partner, she continued. By the time everyone had finished one set each, she had already completed more than two sets.
She did not waste time in exchanging places with her partner like others.
"That is enough for today!" His stern voice relieved everyone. They stopped and wiped their sweat. The coach looked at the boys and then nodded. Many had performed well.
