Chapter 48: Spread Her Wings
When Nora reached the classroom, the teacher had already entered. She frowned looking at Nora. but since she had not started teaching yet, and the watch still showed a margin of five minutes, she let Nora enter.
Nora walked to the last seat like always. It was in parallel with Alex. Alex was sleeping on his desk like always.
When he heard the steps, he opened his eyes, saw Nora and closed them again.
"At the end of this week, our school is organizing a career guidance seminar. Various famous personalities from different kinds of business would come here to inspire all of you. If you have any personality in mind and you have the contacts to invite them, please do inform me. If any one of you have questions related to it, you could come to meet me during lunch time or after school hours. And I will be taking volunteers too for the task." the teacher announced as she wrote the heading on the whiteboard.
And then she resumed her lecture. Nora opened her notebook and started writing. If one would look at her, they all would think that she is studying diligently. But Nora did not need to write the notes. She had already completed her graduation in the past. She only needs to hear them to revise her studies.
She was writing about the information she would share to gain some money.
"If only I had been interested in the share market!" she could have earned millions from it. But she had only paid attention to her surroundings. Because of that she knew how to be successful in her class and who would fail terribly when it comes to business.
And she remembered a few businesses that had gained a lot of success. One of them was Sky entertainment.
She waited for the lectures to end before standing up and walking to Victor.
"Victor, I have a favor to ask you. Do you have some time to spare?" Before he could reply, she opened the book and showed him a drawing of a character. "I have heard your father is working in the video game field. I have always been so interested in it that I have designed one too. I want your viewpoint on it." Victor was frowning when Nora approached him.
She was infamous in the class these days after all. But when he noticed the drawing and the neat notes written around it, he forgot about them and snatched the book from her.
His eyes started to glimmer as he read more and more about it. A pang of guilt started to fill her heart.
