Chapter 30: The Devil Has Returned
"Sir, about the recording." Alric's assistant was waiting at the door when he came out. Alric's smile vanished instantly and his expression became cold again.
"Send it to her uncle and make sure that he gets the warning this time. If he or any member of his family came near the girl, they would regret taking me lightly." the assistant felt a shiver run down his spine.
He took quick steps and left the room. Alric was still holding the slightly ajar door. His eyes fell on the girl whose eyes were still red with the genuine tears she had shed this time. She was staring at the ceiling now.
"I know that you do not need protection. But you might need a little push to spread your wings properly."

Nora felt like a trapped person though she knew that he would not interfere in her life. She was nothing but a stranger for him.
"As long as I keep an eye on you." She stared at Alex's picture in her hands.
In just two hours a man knocked at her door and passed her a small file. She opened it to see her admission letters in the most famous dormitory of the school.
"I am getting a gold room there?" she asked with a raised brow. That room was reserved for those who won a scholarship to get a pass in the dormitory.
