Chapter 23: Die Today
Sohpia opened the door of Nora's room and scanned it with a scowl on her face. Nora was living in a luxurious room when she was not even sick.
"Sleeping in the broad daylight. No wonder that you did not return home, you lazy pig." She cursed as she closed the door and walked toward the bed where Nora was sleeping without a worry. The more she looked at Nora, the more she felt like she was going to choke this girl to death. "You have ruined the peace of your family and now you are sleeping without a care! Ha! If you wanted to sleep that badly then you should have died when we sent the nurse to kill you." she cursed Nora loudly without a care.
She had paid a good amount to the nurse on round. She was sure that no one would disturb them until she left. She had even made sure to use the blind angle of the camera in the hall.
No one would know that she ever visited Nora. if something happened to Nora, their family could not be held responsible. But that would be for the worse. Best would be if this foolish girl cooperates, if not.. Her eyes narrowed with a sinister look in them.
She looked around and found a jug of water on the side table. She picked it up and threw the water on Nora to wake her up.
The girl flinched at once and started shivering.
"No, do not drown me. Please, I want to live. Please." Nora screamed at once with her voice quivering.
Sohpia paused for a second. She had already asked Penny about the accident. Penny had accepted that she had whipped Nora but she confirmed that she had not drowned Nora.
She had only locked the door and left her alone. But Penny could be lying. She looked fascinated with the looks of that cunning Benard. She gritted her teeth and glared at Nora. It was all her mistake.
"Who is drowning you?" She screamed in a cold and low voice, "you are asleep on your bed and yet you have the courage to accuse her. How marvelous." she hissed as Nora rubbed the water off her face and dazedly looked at Sophia.
She looked at Sophia as if she was looking at her for the first time.
"What are you looking at, your bitch? Lower your head." irritated that the girl dared to look straight at her eyes, Sohpia slapped Nora hard.
