Return Of The Heiress For Revenge

Chapter 8: Dying Girl

"That is enough!" Bernand's eyes filled with cold and darkness as he looked at the couple with a snickering glance. "If your goal was to call me and insult me in your house. You did it well. And I hope you are ready to pay the cost too." David's face went pale as he noticed the snicker.

He had been serving this man for a long time. Though he had been the chairman in his company. Benard was the biggest shareholder. He had so much business that was why he did not care about this small makeup brand.

But if Benard wanted, he would throw them out at once. Sohpia had the same thought. How she wanted to return and drag that sleeping girl out of the room and threw him on this man to save themselves.

"Please, there must be some misunderstanding. It is a mistake." David stammers but it was already too late. Benrard was staring coldly at Sophia who had held Penny's hands. His eyes narrowed and he laughed.

"There is no misunderstanding, but there is a mistake. Your mistake and you..." his eyes cold and dark that Sohpia flinched when his lips curled, "have already done it." He turned and left the hall.

Penny struggled and tried to get herself free. But Sophia did not let go of her hand. She held her wrist tightly.

"Mother, what are you doing?" Penny cried, "it is hurting now." Sohphia finally turned to look at her daughter and then closed her eyes and sighed. Her grip slowly loosening on her hands.

She had held Penny for stopping her but in the end, she was holding her to get the strength. She had become weak under that dark gaze. It was so pressurizing and full of wickedness that her knees were giving up and she needed support.

David had fallen on the sofa too. He looked pale and exhausted. His face was full of fear.
