But the dreamy scenery outside the plane window was spoiled by a jarring dot.
It was like a rat dropping that spoiled a whole pot of soup.
This made Jack Smith unconsciously raise his eyebrows, subconsciously wanting to reach out and rub the black dot away.
He wiped at the dot on the window with his finger.
The black dot remained unchanged.
After a moment of silence, Jack Smith tried scraping it with his fingernail.
But the black dot was still not gone.
It seemed as though it wasn’t a stain on the window or at least not on the inside of the window.
At least when Jack scraped it with his fingernail, he didn’t manage to scrape off a stain; in fact, he did not even feel there was a stain on the window at all.
"Perhaps, it’s a stain outside the window?"
"Was it because it was darker inside the cloud layer, so I didn’t notice it?"
