I cut him off icily. "Don’t. Don’t you dare say his name. He’s the reason you’re in this mess. He’s the reason you’re about to die."
I could feel the heat of their fear radiating from them, and it sent a thrill coursing through my veins. The scent of their sweat, their terror—it was like perfume to me.
