Hubert did not know what the youngster was thinking. He was busy looking at his face, thinking hard about where he had seen that face before. Merlin shook his head with a polite smile, "I am sorry but I don’t recall meeting you before."

Since Helena had called him uncle, Merlin thought he should be polite to him and answered nicely.

Hubert continued to think but he still nodded. Since he couldn’t remember, there was no use in stalling the young man for him. He could think about it slowly.

He turned back to Vernon and Helena and had a small chat with them before leaving to talk to others.
