Chapter 169: WAYS TO APPEASE HER
Dove listened to Dante, very well knowing that he really meant well. And she was actually internally even feeling guilty about how she had behaved earlier with him.
It was her own internal turmoil, and her own messed up feelings. And she could not and should not be going on behaving like that with anyone. No body has given her that right. Specially with someone who is nothing but friendly and kind to her, and who wishes well for her. Keeping that in mind, she made a conclusion in her mind.
But then again, the words that he spoke just a while ago, replayed in her mind. And her lips pressed in a straight line again.
’You are a pretty lady, and you don’t have to apologise! Hmph! What was the need for telling such a thing!’ Dove grumbled in her head.
While, Dove was grumbling and complaining in her head, Dante walked to her and pulled out the ice creams from the plastic bag, and pushed one in front of her, after opening it, and put a small spoon on top of it, "Here! First have this! I bought it to appease you."
Dove blinked her eyes, then raised her head to look at him, pressing her lips in a thin line and said after a couple of seconds, staring at him she said, "Please keep it inside the freezer. I will have it later."
She still did not have her thoughts and herself together yet!
But Dante shook his head adamantly in denial and said, "No, no. That can not be done. You need to eat it right now. Grandpa has already told me that you can have ice creams at anytime of the day, and as many. And if you do not agree, I would take it as if you telling me that you have not forgiven me yet."
Dove looked at Dante, a little more than baffled. What does he mean by this?! What forgiveness? Wasn’t it me who should be apologising.
