Chapter 167: CONFLICTING FEELINGS
As Dove said that, she gave a collective answer to everyone present there. That there was no reason for them to worry. And she was very well aware of the powers and responsibilities that she held, and no one actually has to question them or comment on it, especially people like Jacob. But at the end, they were just happy that there was no issues to be concerned about. One of them looked at Dove and said with an approving nod, "CEO Dove, we trust on you that you would never do anything against the company’s interest."
Hearing that, Dove smirked and said with a curt nod, "Thank you for the trust." They ended the meeting with a few words, and that the signing of the share contract, will be completed by tomorrow. The meeting was adjourned and she left the meeting room.
She found Dante already holding the door for her, and she looked up at him, to see that signature charming smile of his on his face, and she felt her heart race once more.
Damn! That meeting had actually distracted me somewhat, and now it was back.
The confident smirk that Dove carried on her face, mellowed a little, and she looked away and walked towards the elevator, looking forward. Her mind and heart was back to buzzing, and she was cursing her self in her mind.
Dante’s lips instantly curved down from the smile, when Dove did not acknowledge him like she usually does. At other time, she would smile at him back, and he would initiate something about how good she was during the meeting, and she would happily talk about it back to him.
He sighed, when he noticed how her confident smile almost got wiped away when she saw him. It really saddened him. It seems that he had really angered her this time. B
