Chapter 142: YES. YES, I AM BEING PETTY
Dove smirked in satisfactiom as Cara looked all pissed as well as frightened of her husband.
And when the Davis Family looked at her smirking, their cold and dark expressions got paired with a frown too.
Cara froze for a moment, before she pointed her finger at her and almost yelled, "See! See, this is all this girl’s evil planning! And she is blaming me for no reason!"
And saying so, she turned towards everyone, especially her husband, wanting to make sure that he knows and believes it. At this point, Cara could not care less about whatever the others had to believe. But she could not let her husband even have the slightest idea that the setback he had in his company has anything to do with her.
Philip stared at his wife, his expressions unreadable, before he turned to look at Dove, who stood their with a smug smile on her face as if she was enjoying everything happening around.
He could not take it any longer, and stood up saying, "Dove! It would be better of you now stop playing and waste any our times and get to the real topic. Why did you do that?!"
Philip really wanted to know that why would Dove pull out of that deal? Because though in the initial phrase, Davis Enterprise would apparently be making more profit, but Sterling Corporations would not have been in any laid back condition.
And Philip still hoped if something could be reversed from here.
Hearing him, Dove slightly tilted her head and said, "Mr Philip, the moment you and your family decided to step foot in this mansion, was the moment that you decided for your time to be wasted. So now don’t complain about that when it’s happening ."
