Chapter 34: DID HIS FACE LOOK LIKE A MOUSE?
The next three days, Dante stayed at the Sterling residence. There he met Mr Simon’s son and daughter in law. His daughter in law was pregnant was her first child.
And during his stay, they loved him like their own. Simon also asked him to call him as ’Grandpa’, which he happily did. Those three days, the cops would visit the residence quite frequently, to interrogate about those people. Though, whatever those people did with him had a deep toll on his fragile mental health, yet he told them everything. After all, they needed it for further interrogation and to connect to his family.
Those people who had kidnapped him were his father’s enemies, and had kidnapped him to backmail and use him against his father.
And on the forth day, his father came to get him. Initially the Sterling family was a little worried that maybe, the young boy would blame his father for not coming earlier and he had to face so much. Sometimes, children did react like that. But surprisingly, Dante did nothing like that. He was very understanding towards everything. After all, he could also see how his father as wounded and had bandage around his head. He knew that he had also gone something while he was facing pain. And he happily left with his father.
But that did not mean that he had forgotten Simon. In fact, Simon was akin to a hero in his eyes. Someone who had saved him, when he thought that he had no one to save him. He had high place of regard in Dante’s head. And he truly respected it.

Dante sat in his room, while he remembered Grandpa Simon. It is not that, they hadn’t have contact all these years. In fact, they had been contacting all these years. Mr Simon knew him like how he had known his own son! It was only the last five years, ever since he had taken over the family business that he couldn’t come to meet Senior Sterling.
This time, he had come to the country, and here in the city to get some of his business done, as well as also meet Senior Sterling. But who knew that before that, Dante would lose his first time with Senior Sterling’s own granddaughter. And in that process also get crazy for her.
