Chapter 114: Tension arise
Tyson closed his ears as the shouting grew louder behind him. He stepped back from the front line, where the tension had now taken shape—two sides were forming.
On one end stood Edward, silent but firm. On the other, the rogue named Mills, fire in his voice and rebellion in his stance.
Almost everyone had chosen a side now.
Tyson’s gaze swept the room.
Ryuk stood quietly near the Rangers, arms folded, unsure—his eyes darting between both groups like a man trapped in uncertinity.
Then Tyson turned his head to the far corner. Blue sat there, still. Eyes lowered.Unmoving. Unbothered. Or maybe... resigned.
Then Tyson saw him. The only person not caught in the chaos— Ryzen.
He stood alone, separate from the shouting. Watching. A slight smile tugged at his lips, as if amused by the unraveling. He was stood aprat from both groups, alone.
Tyson felt the weight return to his chest. The same pain Coco spoke of—the divide, the corruption, the betrayal. This is how it starts... How worlds fall. Not with an enemy’s sword—but by turning it on each other.
And what could he do?
He wasn’t a leader. Wasn’t special. Just Tyson—a young man who even failed to propose the girl he loves, he took too much time and now there was no time. He was late, super late.
