Chapter 110: Vanished
Tyson sat on the bench, his heart still pounding as he replayed the plan in his mind, trying to convince himself that everything was in place.
Well, almost everything—if he ignored the fact that he was already making Nancy wait, which definitely wasn’t part of the plan.
"Will she say yes?" he muttered under his breath.
His meta-bot blinked once in response. Tyson gave a small smile, taking it as reassurance.
"Thanks for the prep."
He took a deep breath and stood up. The café was just a few yards away, gleaming in the evening lights. He was late—maybe super late—but it couldn’t be helped. He was scared.
As he stood at the crosswalk, the light was still green for cars. Pedestrians waited on both sides.
Then he saw her.
Nancy.
Wearing her favorite outfit—the one she once said she only wore for special occasions. Did she know? Or was it just a beautiful coincidence?
Tyson’s heart fluttered.
