Chapter 94: Chase 1
"She’s been kidnapped?" Edward stood silently, staring at the glass wall as Shaun explained everything.
Edward immediately speculates who that might be; it must be Albert’s job, but he won’t just send anyone to do this...unless Justin himself stepped in.
He will have an advantage in disguising himself while traveling, unlike other meta-bot wearers.
"When did you get this news?" he asked calmly.
"Just a few minutes ago," Shaun replied. "Sergeant Tyson went after her."
"General, should we begin tracking her?" Captain Barns asked.
"We can try," Edward said quietly. "But I suspect Justin might’ve already gotten rid of her phone. He’s Albert’s son, after all."
"Then how did Tyson track her?" Barnes asked, puzzled.
"He might’ve placed a tracker in her pendant or something," Edward guessed. "We may not be able to trace her, but we can definitely track Tyson."
An AI screen appeared in front of them as Edward gave the order to trace Tyson’s phone. A green dot appeared on the map, racing along a highway at high speed.
"He’s following her," Edward said, narrowing his eyes. "Their goal must be to get her out of the city first."
