Battle Of Planets

Chapter 60: Start of the Drill

"Do you understand?" the lieutenant asked, standing before a large blackboard in the most oversized room at the mining site.

Tim and the other two sergeants joined the drills alongside the 23 newly promoted sergeants who sat before him. Some nodded in understanding, while others stared blankly. Among those who seemed distracted were Tyson and Alex.

The brothers smirked at one another, pretending to understand the concept written on the board, when in reality, they had lost track of the explanation somewhere along the way.

"Crap, I guess he got it," Tyson muttered under his breath, watching Alex cautiously.

After staring at the board for a long moment, Alex suddenly began scribbling notes like a man on a mission.

Tyson quickly followed suit—not because he had any idea what was happening but because he had a plan.

Unlike Alex, who hoped to figure things out later, Tyson already had his strategy ready. That strategy involved Shaun, their resident theory expert.

As the class concluded, the sergeants started to exit the room.

"Remember," the lieutenant said, "this theory will determine your grades, which will be turned into points for your ranking. I hope you take it seriously—it’s for your benefit."

At the entrance, Tyson and Alex stopped, inadvertently blocking the exit. They exchanged glances, first at each other and then at the notebooks they held.

"Do you even get any of this?" Alex smirked.
