Chapter 26: Blue Vs Tyson
Earlier That Day
Blue held the freshly forged ID card in his hand, the badge of his new identity as a worker inside the Ruling Party's building. "Is this really our key to getting in?" he asked, his voice laced with doubt.
"Yes," Coco replied firmly. "Get inside, blend in, and don't draw any suspicion—especially from Captain Barnes."
"And what about you?" Blue asked, glancing at Raine's ID card, which labeled her as a cook. She looked irritated. "By the way, Raine, that role suits you."
"Shut up," she muttered, clearly unamused. "Why do I have to be a cook? Couldn't I get something better?"
"I'll stay out of sight," Coco interrupted, his tone steady. "Too many people know my face. I need to remain hidden until the right moment—element of surprise and all." He patted the side of the van. "You know where to go. Stay there until I give the word."
Blue watched as the van pulled away, uncertainty still gnawing at him. "So, what's the actual plan?"
"Who cares?" Raine replied casually, cracking her knuckles. "As long as I get to shut up those arrogant idiots." She waved goodbye. "I'll wait for you, Blue."
Blue nodded and turned back to Coco. "You haven't told me everything"
Coco exhaled slowly. "We're going to make the president apologize for his mistakes. This plan is about Humanity's future...for all of us"
Blue hesitated, his grip tightening on the ID card. "I just hope it doesn't turn into a bloodbath."
