"Sure, as long as your Daddy and Mama agree, I have no objections!" Sisi said with a chuckle.
Qiqi’s face fell immediately, "Ah, never mind then. I will just sleep holding a doll tonight."
Sisi didn’t tease her anymore. She took a doll half a meter tall out of the wardrobe and handed it to Qiqi: "Here, take this one. I originally planned to ask Third Aunt to take it back for you, but it’s even better that you came by yourself."
"For me? Sisi, really for me?"
Sisi nodded with a smile. Qiqi jumped up and hugged her tightly, planting kisses on her cheek which left Sisi both laughing and crying.
Qiqi happily played with the doll. The doll was a beautiful foreign little girl dressed in a pretty light blue dress, with long curly brown hair, wearing a white scarf on her head, blue eyes, and brown leather shoes on her feet, paired with white socks. It was dressed just like a real little girl.
These kinds of dolls were only sold in Overseas Chinese Stores. One of her classmates had an uncle in the United States, and her family had a Foreign Remittance Ticket. She had a doll similar to this one and often invited classmates to her home to show off her doll.
